REFLECTION- INTERNATIONAL DAY
THE STALL I INTERNATIONAL DAY WAS SO FUN. IT WAS FUN BECAUSE WE WERE ABLE TO SEE A CAPABLE PEOPLE WERE, AND ALSO BECAUSE MANY DIFFERENT AGED PARENTS AND CHILDREN CAME TO PARTICIPATE! THOUGH NEXT TIME I THINK WE SHOULD TEACH THE CHILDREN HOW TO QUICK STITCH SO THEY HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE AND A BIT OF AN UNDERSTANDING TO STITCHING!
ALMOST DONE JUST WERE LEFT WITH A FEW TOUCH UPS!!!
This picture is a on international day when we were helping the kids choose their fabric. We had many different shapes and many different colors of Fabric for the little kids, because it will be easier...

Art Reflection
Patchwork Quilt Workshop for International Day
1. Who were the members of your workshop team and what was the role of each person in the group?
Members:Nadia, Lara, Noor, Anju, Mille and Myself.
Roles: Mille and Anju's jones was to advertise and be leaders. Nadia and Lara's role was to help out everyone. Noor's job was to also help but the little kids. And my job was to bring everyone and try and make it fun.
2. Explain your ideas for your patchwork quilt workshop and explain how you differentiated your resources for younger and older participants?
Well we had a smaller table for the little kids so it is easier for them to work on and the prices were appropriate for their age. We also had shapes cut out for little kids.
3. Explain what items you prepared for your workshop. Explain how successful this resource was on international day.
We had little cut out Fabric for the little kids to just stick on, a few glue trays, a tray of scissors and a bin.
4. Describe and reflect on International day. How successful was your workshop? Did your audience enjoy it? How could you improve it for next time?our workshop was actually quite successful and yes the audience did enjoy it but next it would be better if all our team members helped us.
5. What did you enjoy about this project?
I enjoyed all the team work and helping the little kids and basically everything.
6. What skills and techniques did you learn?
I learnt that teamwork is really important and we always need leaders and scissor technique.
7. How could you make this unit more fun? Please upload photographic evidence to your blog which demonstrate the preparation, resources and the workshop activity on International day.
Well maybe we could make this unit more fun by teaching them how to stitch.
This picture above are the stories the little kids did!
You must complete this task and send a link of your blog via email today to turners@eischools.ae in order to have evidence to complete service and action and for assessment level input for criteria: A/B/C/D. I am wring your reports!!!!!!!
