Letter Task

Dear Ismic, father of Admira,
We have both suffered the unforgettable deaths of our beloved ones. I cannot live with this and have been suffering the pain of their deaths since. We have both been struck by such a distater and I feel we should resolve the conflict between the two of us as I am sure this is what our loved ones would've desired. It has been a difficulty for the both of us as we haven't been able to make a decision on where to bury them. I'm still standing strong to my point, and I still request that we bury them in Bosko's home land, which is where he was born and brought up, also where they first met (I think), which means the most. I would want to do anything for the happiness of our children, and to fulfill their wishes, which would be to stay together till the end. Serbia will keep them together and will keep them strong in heaven. It would be an honor if you would agree with me. We can finalize our decision after you've read this. I hope this letter does you well.

Sincerely,
Radmilla Bkric

The reflection
Abdul, Raushan, Azahra and Noor's group:
Abdulrahman's group consisted of four people: Abdul, Azahra, Raushan, and Noor.Abdul's group did ok, they haven't done thought tracking and I didn't quite see any arguments. The play started out good but they lost control and started laughing, which looked messed up and not planned at all. I noticed that they didn't quite get into character for this play, it was noticeable. Although the story made sense, it didn't quite make their acting better. Their story was about two robbers trying to get into a famous business man's safe. They couldn't open the safe, meanwhile, the assistant who was played by Raushan got into her boss's office and noticed two robbers trying to open the safe. By the time the boss comes down to check up on his assistant, the assistant is gone and there is supposedly a note left. The setting was in a building, in an office. I didn't see any thought tracking from any people in this group. Since my teacher played some sad/depressing music, it didn't fit in with their story making it awkward to watch. The characters were: Robber 1( Azahra), Robber 2( Noor), Boss(Abdul), and last but last but not least the assistant (Raushan). I saw lots of emotion at the start of the play but by the near end of the play, I saw lots of giggling and smirking which means the actors got out of their characters. Over-all the play was good, especially the part when Azahra couldn't open the door or the window or an entrance to the office, Azahar's face showed fear and anger, as she couldn't open the door at first. Noor, on the other hand, didn't help Azahra's character to open the entrance to the office, showing us how bossy her character. Making it more interesting to watch, as the tension rose every second. There was so much tension when they couldn't open the safe and the assistant came in. No offense to Abdul, but when he came it all the tension went away as his reaction to his assistant was normal and didn't look as surprised as I intimidated. His reaction seemed lifeless and simple. Abdul's reaction set off Azahra and Noor and it made them laughing making Abdul laugh and cover his face. Abdul tried to pretend like he didn't laugh and continued on with the play. It leaves us to Abdul begging the robbers to release his assistant as Abdul dropped on his knees, that set off everyone else making the whole class to laugh. The play ended with everyone laughing. I didn't see any thought-tracking if they used thought to track they could have boosted their grade up. My overall opinion on the play: They did fairly well and had emotions but the music didn't fit their theme making it hard for to believe it is actually real or believable. If I were to grade them based on what I saw I would grade them a high level 4 or a low level 5. I said before the reason being is because they haven't used thought tracking at all nor did they stay in character, but overall the play was intense and interesting. The story itself would be graded a 6 or a 7, it was intense, interesting, eye-catching and dramatic.

Safa, Habiba, Karan and Nicoletta's group:
Safa's character is a library owner. Nicoletta's character is the assistant to the librarian. Karan is a club owner who wants to get rid of the library and build a club for teens and adults. Habiba is Karan's assistant that provides him with all sorts of information. The play starts off with Safa entering the scene with her assistant discussing how wonderful the library is up until they get a call from Karan's assistant explaining that someone bought the library and will build a club for adults and teens. Safa and her assistant get out-raged and rush to Karan's office to discuss the matter. When they blast open the door Karan and his assistant are sitting behind a desk with serious faces. Safa rushes to the desk with anger and her fists clenched. She starts to throw paper and argues with Karan and his assistant. Nicoletta then makes fun of Karan's assistant and continues to argue when Karan defends his assistant. While watching the play I noticed lots of emotion and tension. If you ask me I don't think they divided parts equally as Habiba and Nicoletta rarely spoke in the play. Over-all the idea for the play was unique and unlike everyone else's, making them stand out. I also noticed thought-tracking in the play which was produced by Safa. After Safa gets the shocking news she expresses her feelings towards the library by saying "This, Library means the world to me" she explains how the library was passed down from generation to generation, making her feel extra special. What caught my eye about this play is the fact that they didn't crack a smile, this whole time. Everyone was in character, everyone knew their lines and didn't ramble on the stage. The side music fit in well with this scene as it was such a loss for someone to lose something as special as that. They made their play not too long and not too short making it more interesting to watch as if it was too long it would get boring. There is obviously room for improvements, for example, add more of thought-tracking and more emotion making sure that it will make the audience believe that it's a real-life story. If I were to rate this story out of 8 I would rate it a 7 or an 8 as it was original and unique. If I were to rate their acting as a group I would rate it a high6 or a low 7. Reason being is because they were on time, they knew their lines perfectly, they didn't ramble on stage, their story fits in with the music theme which made it more intense to watch and more interesting to watch. They included thought-tracking once meaning they followed the guidelines and all the rules. The only thing I would improve is to make Habiba's and Nicoletta's scripts longer as they barely had a sentence each. I understand that they are the assistance of their bosses but sometimes assistants could play a great part in the story too. Overall I loved the play.

Jasmine, Rushil, Nadia and Omar's group:
Jasmine's character was a student that got shot and sacrificed her life for her best friend, Rushil was a student that accidentally shot Jasmine, Nadia is a student that nearly got killed and Omar was a murderer who tried to kill the students. The story starts off with students sitting in a classroom. They start discussing what they want to do for the weekend, they start disagreeing with the choices. Out of the blue, an alarm rings and all students hide under their desks/chairs. Then the murderer enters using thought-tracking. Before, Omar enters the classroom he says "I am gonna kill em all!". I considered it as thought tracking. Omar pretends to hold a gun as he walks into the classroom. He finds all students under their desks. Omar kicked Rushil's chair and grabbed Rushil and picked him up and gave him a gun. Omar forced the gun into Rushil's hand. Omar forced Rushil to kill his friend but Jasmine jumped in between and sacrificed her life for her friend also known as Nadia. Nadia stands up to cry over her friend also known as Jasmine. Rushil stands there dumb-founded as if he didn't realize what he just did. Omar runs away from the classroom and then the play finished. From my perspective, I know for a fact that this was a lock-down and this was done in a classroom. I can tell by the topics the students are discussing they are studying in high-school. The group did use thought-tracking but it didn't look like it, it was a bit awkward and silly. It wasn't successful but at least they included thought tracking. The story was very interesting and intense, and very eye-catching to watch. The music really helped fit the theme and make it look like an actual lock-down, I saw lots of emotions and fear in their faces. I actually really enjoyed this play, it was very interesting to watch. Almost all of them kept a straight face, making it look very serious and realistic. I also saw how they quickly switched emotions from happy and excited to scared and feared. I think the parts were equally distributed between the characters making everyone in the play important. If I were to mark their story idea, I would rate it a 5 or a 6 because it's not really original but the idea is really good. If I were to rate their performance I would rate it 6 or 7 as the tension in the room rose every minute, every single one of their words were taken seriously. If I were to change something it would be putting a little more effort into their thought-tracking, because the thought-tracking Omar did was a satisfactory level and he could have added a little more emotion into it. Overall I would say this would be my favorite play out of the whole class because it was the most exciting and the most interesting. Also, it doesn't make sense for a murderer to give a high-schooler a gun, as he can easily kill the murderer I may be wrong but these are just my thoughts on the play. Overall it was played well.

Danya, Anju, Maria, Mayukh and Adi's group:
Danya was a primary teacher, Anju and Maria were primary students, Mayukh and Adi were secret agents if I am not mistaken. The story started off with a teacher, asking her primary students what was 2 times 2 was, Anju answered in a sweet kid voice with a 4. The teacher then asked Maria what was 3+ 3 was and Maria took time to answer so Anju said "Come on,  you can do it. I believe in you". Maria replied with a cute girly "thanks". She then answered the question and said: "it's 6". The teacher then said "Good job!". The teacher then continued to say "Alright class, I am going to use the restroom, I will be back in a minute."
She then exits the class and does the thought-tracking by saying I left the class, I left them, I betrayed them and it's my fault. Then the kidnappers come in and scream at the kids. The kids hide under the desk and scream for help. Mayukh continues to scream at Anju and yells at her to pick up the gun. He yells at her saying "SHOOT HIM, SHOOT HIM NOW!" I am guessing Mayukh was pointing at another student, forcing Anju to shoot the poor kid right away. Since Anju is acting like a little kid, she is traumatized and can't shoot him right away. She looks away for a moment and then shoots the kid. Adi doesn't even speak in the play meaning they didn't distribute the rolls properly. Maria is shocked about what just happened and is still hiding under the desk. Danya isn't even in the play anymore, making it very awkward. The story ends with Anju crying and throwing the gun as far as possible away from her. In my opinion, the thought-tracking technique was used very well in this play and the music made it sound so serious and intense. The only thing I am concerned about is the fact that Anju being a little girl and not yet strong enough to pick up a fully-loaded gun which probably weights a lot. Oh, I forgot to mention that they didn't distribute the rolls equally and some people rarely got to speak but other than that everything was amazing. If I  were to mark their story idea I would mark it a 4 or a 5 because it is un-original and another group has already performed the same scenario. If I were to give it a mark out of 8 for their performance I would give it a 7 or an 8.
The disturbance scene
Characters:
Dana: She is the main character and she is also the daughter/little girl. Her stage-name is Amelia Bennet. Age: 6 and a half. Her hobbies are: making a mess, playing with her dolls, playing with her imaginary friend, playing dress up, eating candy and drawing in her diary. Amelia is very hyperactive and talkative. She can be very clingy to her mom, due to the reason that her dad aka Abraham abuses her way too often making her love her mom more.
Tanya: I'm Amelia's mom, my name is Louisa Bennet and I am 32. I am chill and carrying. My hobbies are to cook and knit and clean. I can be very aggressive when it comes to paying bills. Unfortunately, I have no right to raise my voice in the Bennet household and I am often abused by my husband Abraham, making me always sad and depressed.
Saif: The Kidnapper. There isn't much information known about him as he doesn't share much about himself all we know is that he has had a tough childhood and that's why he kidnaps kids. He has always felt unwanted making him run away from home, sadly......

He is also very confident and egotistic. His hobbies are to watch football with his mates, drink alcohol, do drugs, and cut himself. From what we know Abraham ran away from home at age 15.

Extra info/Backstory:
All of the Bennets were born in America, Pensylvania. Louise and Abraham met in university. They got married in Hawaii, underwater. They wasted more than half of their money on their wedding making it very hard for them to pay for Amelia's school and their house and etc. Abraham got more and more stressed about the bills and started to get abusive with Louise since Amelia was too young to the abuse he abused Louise instead. At some point, Louise wanted to leave and move to a different state, but her attempt failed. After she got caught she had to face a huge punishment, which was given by Abraham. Amelia turned 4 and Abraham got a mental illness from all the stress and anxiety. At this point, Abraham could Not control himself so he was put in the hospital. Making Louise and Amelia free for about 6 months. Surprisingly, Louise and Amelia were not abused for the first time in their lives. Side note: Louise could not tell the police about the current situation as she could face a gigantic punishment from Abraham. Which could potentially kill her, making her unable to live life free. Once, Amelia turned 5 the Bennets had a holiday trip to Hawaii. This trip made Abraham realize all of his mistakes, making him feel guilty and regretful. Abraham was calmer and chill after this trip and everything was turning out to be great. Until Abraham got more and more bills. Here is what happened next....

What happened?
On a typical Thursday morning, the Bennets woke up to a lovely breakfast. Abraham received lots of bills and tried not to get stressed over breakfast in front of Amelia. Louisa was feeding Amelia when Abraham nicely asked Amelia to go to her bedroom to play with her dolls. Amelia obeyed her dad's request and went to her room. Abraham quickly pulled out the bills and checks to show how much the Bennets were spending in 3 months. Louisa's jaw dropped when she picked up one of the checks. Abraham was shouting at Louisa about the bills and how she never helps, Abraham make money. Abraham kept calling Louisa useless and for the first time in 7 years Louisa shot back and called him ignorant and egotistic. In the meantime, a kidnapper broke into the house and tried to find the kid's bedroom. Since Louisa and Abraham were too busy to pay attention, they didn't hear the kidnapper walk in. Abraham now getting out of control and flipping the table, while Louisa was crying and sobbing all over her apron. Abraham covering his face with his hands not realizing what he just did. While the kidnapper stole Amelia by offering her candy and dolls. Amelia now crying for help, while her parents didn't even realize that their daughter is gone. 30 minutes later they call Amelia to go to the park with them but... Amelia is gone. Her room is a mess, everything got turned upside down.

Forum Theatre 'Family Picture'

In this family photo all of us are in some way related to Dana. Dana was the main character in this photo and she had to play as a lady who is off her meds and is going out off control, and all of u are here to support and help her. Jasmine was dana's sister by blood, Daniel was dana's lawyer, Noor and I were waitresses. Saif was the milkman, Francesca was dana's cousin, Abdulrahman and Mayukh were brothers, and Karan isn't in the picture but he was the low-tempered neighbor.

How are they all related to Dana's character?
Jasmine is Dana's sister by blood, and Francesca is Dana's cousin by blood too.
Daniel is dana's lawyer and always helps dana get out of trouble when dana's off her meds and does something crazy and gets her self into trouble.
Saif was a milkman who delivers fresh milk to Dana's door since thats how she likes it. Abdul and Makyukh were brothers and were just dana's family friends.
Noaf was dana's butler and does everything dana and jasmine say and always call them ma'am to show respect.
Noor and I were waitresses and we always served dana with her favorite food and our restaurant is her favorite place to eat, also sometimes when dana invites us over to her house we usually cook for her. In the picture we were acting like poor was noting down dana's order on a book.
Lastly Karan is dana's neighbor and who started conflict with dana due to their garden space.

Reality TV Reflection:
(written form)

1) How have your characterization skills developed in this reality TV unit? (give examples)
My characteristics have tremendously improved. Staying in character was probably one of the most difficult tasks, it was hard because when you’re the center of attention as you’re trying harder than usual. During this whole unit, I have improved my skills of acting, for sure, I have gained more confidence, my teamwork skills has improved since we had a massive amount of teamwork throughout this topic, I also improved on acting in front of a camera as we had a lot of filming this year, like filming our confession video and our little sister application. I think the most I’ve improved on staying in character as I wasn’t confident with it last year.

2) What target can you identify for yourself in order to improve on your characterization skills next term? My target would be stay focused and just keep acting, not to be shy since we’re in a drama class for a reason. Next term I hope to show my acting skills more and embrace who I’m trying to impersonate, as I had noticed that Miss hadn’t yet realized my character because I wasn’t showing and doing what my character did. I need to improve my acting by also not using the techniques from melodrama, and by that, I mean not over reacting and just staying in the limit since we have to start making our acts look more realistic rather than over dramatic and fiction.

 3) How can you improve your homework when completing written work about the practical explorations in class? To improve my written work, I need to write everything in detail and basically (sorry I desperately had to use basically) act everything but just in written form. To do so I would probably need to make notes of all the main things we do in class and then when I go home I could use those notes and develop them and really just re-write them in a more detailed version.

4) What have you most enjoyed about this unit? I definitely enjoyed the whole unit but I think one of the things I enjoyed most was when we had to come together as a group and create a short skit including a conflict. The reason this was my favorite part was because it had to be as realistic as possible and it included a lot of acting which I really enjoyed. Also, my overall favorite part of this unit was the Teamwork, it was fun working with people I don’t usually work and to get together as a team and create things from scratch which was great as the whole team had to contribute and we all had to agree to it, which had also lead me to improve my communication and cooperation skills.

 5) What was your greatest achievement in drama this term?My greatest achievement in drama this term would definitely be my blog. Compare to last year my writing has improved, because this year miss really pushed us to write in detail and state the most important events. This had helped us develop a sense of creative writing and also character dialogue as we also had to write in our character’s perspective. But I still think I need to improve my written work and give it my all, which I am hoping to do next term

 Voted Off:
Oml, you won't acc believe what happened today. ok so it has now been a couple a weeks and its about time someone leaves, cause we need more excitement and more people like dj ran and Audrey. back to what I was saying, so today was extremely unexpected. today was the day one of us were being.... VOTED OFF and that means one of us were getting kicked out of this humungous and luxorious house. the moment this news was given out my heart completely stopped, because I was nervous that I was gonna be the one getting kicked out and I aint leaving without out the $25,000, nah ah, aint happenin, I want and need this money. They gave us a few minutes to think about who we wanted to vote off and once we made our decision we had to write on a piece of paper as it was a close vote. it was now time for the votes to be announced, and oh trust the @*%$ outta me, my blood was pumping hella fast. as the votes were being announced the first vote was Abdullah and that was a vote by me cause honestly he's just useless and helpless, he doesn't do anything to help with the hygiene of the house and all he does is smoke weed and get drunk. then the second vote was announced and guess who it was... ME, ME? ME!!?!?!? oh you don't know how nervous I was, I was literally confused my emotions were completely mixed and weird. I had no guts to say anything I was just completely speechless. but as the votes were continuing I heard my name again and now there was a tie between me and abdullah and I was shakinggggggg. now it was upto this last vote to decide wether I'm going to be kicked out or him. as the last vote was being announced I was praying it wouldn't be me. the vote was announced and it wasn't meee!??! oh how happy I was that I still have a chance to win the money and live my life, I was soooo @*%$#+&! happy, I was so relived and now I'm going to fight for the money but most importantly meet new boys;)

Final Drama Video:

REALITY TV SHOW FREEZE FRAME:

The picture above shows that Oakland (Maria) is mad at DJ Ran (karan) and myself and Audrey (anju) are shocked and confused whereas King Abdullah (saif) looks like he’s having an aggressive chat on the phone and isn’t soloing very happy. We chose this as our ‘mark the moment’ because it explains that we’re all having different emotions and it shows that something is wrong. For this scene, I feel like Oakland showed the most emotion out of all of us and kept the audience convinced that she was going to cry. In my opinion, this freeze frame would’ve been netter if we all showed more emotion on our face and used more body language to emphasize that and also if my face was shown that would’ve made a huge difference. To conclude our group didn’t do extremely bad at this and we gave our efforts but maybe be if we’d show ourselves and used more creative and out of the box ideas we would’ve gotten better audience reaction.

Reality Tv shows are way more entertaining than dramas and documentaries, because they show the true emotions of a personal and it isn’t scripted. It gives more realistic features and adds a lot to the show. It might be a struggle for constants to be filmed 24 hours a day because they won’t really have their own privacy and can sometimes get really tiring as it is quite a suffer to good look on camera 24/7. Some contestants might have a feeling to quit the reality tv show as they might not be comfortable sitting in front of s camera always trying too look good and just not having any privacy to yourself. At times, it can get really annoying and frustrating. In my opinion, it wouldn’t be a shame for someone to quit a reality tv show, because if they can handle well then bye, bye. You definitely have to have a passion to stay on camera 24/7, it isn’t as easy as we think it is. Sometimes reality tv shows aren’t completely true as sometimes they can over react a bit to create tension and drama, which isn’t a bad thing at all but is for sure not purely real. Reality tv shows can be true to a certain extent.

Reflection (10-10-17):

This week’s lesson was an interesting lesson. We were firstly out into groups and then we had to go on stage and act like it was the house and it was our first time entering it and first-time meeting everyone. I learned quit a lot and made some mistakes too, I feel like maybe if I used the stage more and had a more dramatic reaction it would’ve have made it seem possible that it was actually my first time entering the house. I also need to gain more confidence and be more comfortable in my character. After the first task, we went on the second one where we were given a scenario and we had to improve on it, and then miss would take a picture of a freeze frame we had pre-planned. During this task, I should’ve show more emotion on my face and while the standing in a position for the freeze frame I should’ve shown my face so the audience know what I’m feeling. Overall, this week’s lesson was a good rehearsal for our upcoming assessments.

Reflection: (3/10/17)
In today's lesson we had a substitute and we were given instructions to firstly start of with a warm up, and for this warm up we had to walk around the room with the emotion the teacher had mentioned and when the teacher said freeze we'd have to stay in the position without changing the emotion. This warm up was for us to practice how to stay in character throughout any disturbance. After we finished the warm up we started rehearsing for our audition for next lesson. Once we finished that we went around (in character) introducing each other and getting to know each other. There were a few fights (dramatically) between a few of us and they were honestly useless fight like; “omg you’re so annoying,” and things like that. At the end of the lesson we played a little confesion game to give our true opinions about other people. In my opinion this lesson was a good boost as it made me more confident in my character and let me enhance my actions. I am hoping next lesson we do more of this and continue discussing things as if we’re living in the same house.

Reflection on today's lesson: (26/09/17)I won't be able to write a reflection for this lesson as I was absent dueto me being sick. Sorry for the absence i'm sure to be back by the next lesson.

Explanation:
Soooooo, I’ve had a few confessions that I had to let out because I felt like I was holding on to a grudge and it just didn’t feel right. The reason I said what I said about each person was because during the planning of our dream house I realized that all the people had different attitudes and sides to them, but there was this one guy ‘Marc’ he was hella quiet, like how? I can barely shut my mouth for 3 seconds… but anyway I didn’t care anyway cause he wasn’t really my type. Then there were these other chics, one of them was a hipster, the other was a skateboarder (EEEWWWWW) and the third one was Alexia, the nice and chill one. I defo don’t think the hipster and skateboarder are gonna mingle with each other OR me ugh. I feel like Alexia and I would be quite good friends tbh (to be honest), but the rest are just annoying 3 year old kids smh :/// OMG!! I Completely forgot, ok so basically my group and I had to create our dream house ON PAPER WITH A PENCIL and with the all the maniacs I was surrounded by, imagine all the trouble I had to go through. That plan was -”@&%£* mess.

Reflection on today's lesson:

Today's lesson was actually really entertaining as we were introduced to a new topic 'Reality TV Shows.' We were also given a character that we have to improvise through this whole process. My character is half African-American half Filipino which is veritably hard to talk like because it is a unique combination. At first I thought my character would be quite hard to contrive my as she is quite the opposite of me. When reading through the guide-line about my character about a few times I started to get an image of how my character would act and things, and so it kind of created facial expression of my character and was easier for me to re-enact. I believe my character has quite a bit of sass and likes being the best and always at the top, also she doesn't really get along with women but seeks attention from guys. The name (Lilzy Ellis) of my character considerably suits her because it has that 'UMPH' in it but I feel like it sounds more British than American.

In my opinion Lilzy would be a good inclusion to the group as she can rise the temperature a bit, she could probably even bring something no one has ever brought. Lilzy's sass could also brings the
group to a conclusion of 'DRAMA' as she mentions herself as being 'The Drama Queen'. As the day progressed I started to feel more comfortable in my character and thought about how I could impersonate her. This character teaches me how different people act around the world and get me out of my comfort zone.

Little Sister Application Form

Explanation about my character:

My character has a really sassy and cheeky attitude and she always has to get what she wants and if she doesn't well... she makes a complete scene about it and won't stop till she achieves to get what she wants. Lilzy always seeks attention from boys and always wants them to be around her and falling for her, so that also explains her date of birth which is on Valentine's Day so she expects quite a lot for her birthday ESPECIALLY from boys. On the other side she can be a nice person if you're friends with her and if you mingle well. She enjoys it when women compete against her but she wins, but she absolutely can't resist it when girls are over confident and think they can be better than her. People usually compare Lilzy to Chris rock for his sense of humor since he's also Half African-American. She can actually be a fun person to be around if you're generous and don't act all rude me vulgar around her.

Style:
Now I'm going to introduce Lilzy's style and what she would usually wear to casual places, hangouts, parties and etc. I will be listing them below and explaining why it is her style and why it would suit her character:
1    1)   Shoulder less tops: Shoulder less tops are tops that don’t have straps and are under your shoulders. For the audition video the top I wore was this and really suited my character because firstly, the colour was a pinkish, purple with some white and was a combination. The reason this top was a good choice was because it exposed some skin and since my character seeks attention from boys it would be an advantage for her.

2     2)    Jeans: I decided for her pants she should would wear ripped jeans because as I mentioned earlier it exposes a lot of skin and she is an attention seeker. The ripped jeans were blue and most ordinary, sassy, young, college girls would normally wear blue (light or dark) jeans. Lilzy seems like someone who would go around walking in shorts and a top but since this was an important interview for a spot on ‘Little Sisters’ I decided to go with something formal but not too fancy.

3)  Shoes: For the shoes I established that I’d just go with normal classy Stan Smiths which were completely white they just had a little red added at the back of the shoe. The reason I went with these shoes are because firstly they’re not too fancy and they’re comfortable to walk in and they really suited the outfit if as wearing.

      4)  Accessories: There had to be some type of accessory so I went with a simple golden bracelet on my left wrist, silver ring on my left thumb and a golden ring on my left hand on the index finger. The reason behind these accessories were because Lilzy is a classic sassy but chill girl and she seems like someone that’d always be extra so I had to add that ‘Extra’ in my character.

      5)  Hair: At first I thought I’d just let my hair down but as I was taking the video my hair seemed messy so I tied up half of my hair and left half of my hair down so it wouldn’t look like I’m going to school nor would it look like I just arrived from a jungle.

Anyway, I aint got no time to waste I got a bunch of boys waiting in line just to see meh, fabulous! Firstly, all I wanna say is I can be a really chill and fun person to be around but if you think you have higher standards then me, no boo that aint gonna workout between me and you and if you think you can steal my spotlight nope, you’re gonna go straight down the drain and embarrass yourself. Secondly, If Little Sisters has to exist I better be on it, I mean c’mon look at me, I’m drama queen, for example if the tinniest thing happens I can create a drama production straight on the spot. That’s what you need! People that can embrace their acting skills to the public and in front of a camera, I can do that, I can ace all of that. So, lastly I just wanna share a few things bout me so my hobbies and interests are acting, shopping, spending time with my mom, staring at the mirror oh and spending time with every guy I see. And yeah that’s it about me! And good luck to everyone else but if you’re competing against, just saying you’re not gonna succeed and I’m gonna win and you’re gonna loose, cause that’s just how I roll, but good luck I guess (eye roll) and see you guys later

Description about me! (Lilzy's Perspective)
Hey guys, wuz poppin, so imma just say a few things bout ma self so y'all know my expectations, my dislikes and likes. First of all i needa bring up ma mum shes such an idol, she supports meh through ma up and downs, she takes care of meh when I'm sick, shes just amazin. Now lemme tell ya a few of ma dislikes, I absolutely dislike it when people think they can be better than meh and get all the boys, like no, all the boys follow meh around begging to say hi to me, like gurl what you talkin bout, i also don't like it when girls act over-confident, I mean yeah i am quite over-confident about things but I only do  that when there's a high chance it might actually happen ya know. Ok ok, lets stop with the negatives lets go to the positives. I admire it when all the guys stare at me and call me pretty, beautiful, alluring, charming and things like that, because it actually brings hope in me that I can be something and I am beautiful and i don't need to change a thing. I also really like it when women have things in common with me cause, you might not know this but I don'r really get along with women unless we have loads of similarities and we share the same interests aka guyssss. I dot really wanna drag this intro so I'm just gonna say please stay in your zone and also try mingling with me and lets see where we get!

Video explanation:
Last but not least is the video part. In my opinion the video was a bit difficult to create because I wasn’t really comfortable to get in character and It took me a few times to finalize my final video because I would keep making the same mistake of taking in a British accent instead of an African - American and I kept trying not to keep making the same mistake but it wasn’t working so I said why not I just do it in my normal voice and we’ll see how it turns out. At the end I came to a conclusion that next time if we have another assessment that is similar I’ll try my best to re-enact the character as much as I can.

This task has given me a chance to display my inner acting skills and use them to become a whole new person. It can be very difficult but you firstly need to understand the attributes of your character and make sure to ask someone if you don’t know what something means because otherwise it could change your whole attitude and could make you act as the complete opposite of your character. I’ve also learned that to achieve a good dramatic image you need to think out of the box and imagine no one’s watching.

Overall, this task has taught me many new skills and has tested my drama skills to the max. I hope to improve my mistakes in our upcoming assessments. During the process of this task I’ve learned that you have to get out of your comfort zone to actually act and make an entertaining performance and you should always try your very best to achieve your goal and maybe had a few extra bonus points here and there.  I hope to achieve and good grade for, effort and skills.

  1. You have really put a lot of thought into your character. I appreciate that.
In order to get an even higher mark, your audition video should have been more entertaining. Remember, you are trying to convince the production team to cast YOU above everyone else. You could've shown a little clip of you hanging with your friends and/or mom, eating at Chipotle, swimming, or just doing things that you love. Also, bringing up your ethnicity of being a mix is always interesting for television.
